GREETINGS FROM GWCEA BOARD CHAIRMAN
You are personally invited to attend the GWCEA convention January 29-30, 2010. We have another exciting convention planned with over 200 workshops, and exhibits by national and local Christian educators. This year we are pleased to announce that our keynote speakers will be Dr. Crawford Loritts and his son, Rev. Bryan Loritts, who will share from our theme, "Reaching All Generations for Christ," (Psalm 100:5). This is an exciting time in Christendom where the Church is challenged to implement new methods to reach younger generations while still serving the older generations, without compromising the gospel message. Our convention will focus on giving churches and leaders numerous ideas that can energize and transform your membership and community. In addition, the convention will feature several "live" sessions: "Innovative Ministry Ideas Reaching All Generations," "Worship and Performing Arts Fest," and "The Word Cafe," that will provide you an opportunity to experience innovative ways to convey the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are also very excited to have Steve Fitzhugh minister to our teens with "Bringin' the H.E.A.T.!" Steve is a former member of the NFL's Denver Broncos and uses his gifts to motivate and encourage youth to make wise choices, and he will challenge, motivate and educate youth leaders and their core leaders to establish and grow a Healthy, Effective, Attractive, and Transforming Youth Ministry for the local church.
In order to be better stewards of our resources and to be able to provide an excellent and affordable convention for you, we have produced this brochure to replace the church packet and lengthy program book we have mailed out in past years. We've made this change so that we can better serve you. Our convention fees have remained the same for the past three years while prices all around us are escalating. (When you arrive at the convention, you will still receive our information-packed convention booklet to use while attending the convention.) All details of the convention are online, so we encourage you to use the internet to access our website for all the particulars. Remember, libraries offer free access to the internet, or you could ask a friend or family member to help you get on line.
Together, let's spread the word!
Dr. James R. Love, Sr.
Chairman, GWCEA, Inc.
